Melissa is our Front Office Manager and has been with us since 2007. She is here to help you with financial options, insurance questions, or treatment questions.

Melissa is married and has 6 children. She enjoys traveling, hiking, boating, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and watching her children compete in sports and dance.

Chelsie joined our team in 2016. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and enjoys making a difference in peoples' oral health care.

She loves taking her kids on adventures and making new memories along the way. Her Interests include spending time outdoors with friends and family, camping, going to the river and being in the sunshine.

Andi is part of the front office staff. She has been in dentistry since
2007, and also is an EFDA assistant. Andi has worked at Thurston Family
Dental going on two years and enjoys the close family atmosphere of the
office. She thrives off of relaying the wants and needs of our patients to
our staff not only because it is necessary, but because she believes in the
value of each individual within our care.

Andi has lived in Oregon since childhood and grew up in the Thurston area.
Andi enjoys spending spare with her family, going to visit the beautiful
Oregon coast, and if she has enough time- making time for a trip to
Disneyland!

Dakota joined our team in 2022 and is one of our Dental Assistants

currently studying to become EFDA certified. She grew up in Springfield but

spent some time in Arizona where she graduated High School. Since moving

back she has been pursuing a career in dental. Dakota enjoys spending her

time off outdoors with friends and family, fishing, and camping.

Jennifer is one of our EFDA assistants. Jennifer grew up in a dental family and is the daughter of a retired dentist. She has been an assistant since 1986 and has attended many continuing education courses and is very knowledgeable. Jennifer enjoys working with our patients. She does a remarkable job educating patients about the dental treatment that is recommended for them while providing a comfortable and positive experience. We are very lucky to have Jennifer join our family at Thurston Family Dental.



When not in the office Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two boys. Jennifer is a social butterfly who loves cooking and entertaining friends. Jennifer enjoys hiking, and traveling especially going on cruises with her boys. 

Hello, my name is Rocio Parra. I grew up in Talent, Oregon, but moved to Eugene in 2020 to pursue my career as a Dental Hygienist. I graduated from Lane Community College with my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in June of 2022. In my free time, I love hiking the local trails, trying new local eateries, and exploring the PNW with my two children and boyfriend.

Jordan is a member of the front desk staff. She is usually the first person to greet you with her upbeat bubbly personality. Jordan is available to assist you with issues or questions about bills scheduling, and insurance.

Jordan enjoys the outdoors hiking and camping with friends and family. In her free time, Jordan enjoys running and participating in various half-marathons.
